The link above is a Clorox bleach commercial that enforces a few of the cultural ideas and myths that we have been talking about in class. These ideas include gender,family, and education. The commercial shows the woman in one family, learning how to do the laundry from one generation to another. This commercial re-enforces that the idea that women are the one that should be doing the cleaning, cooking,etc. What do you think about the commercial and how it applies to the cultural ideas and myths that we have today.
